At the Correctional Educational Center in Lipjan, the General Director of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani, together with the Acting Director of the Correctional Educational Center in Lipjan, Fitim Berbatovci, welcomed the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kosovo, Karin Boven, and two professors from the Netherlands engaged in projects for the treatment and rehabilitation of juveniles.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the treatment of juveniles, improving rehabilitation programs, and the professional development of staff. The importance of exchanging experiences and applying best international practices in this field was emphasized.

The professors presented their experiences within the framework of implemented projects, which have directly influenced the advancement of the rehabilitative approach toward juveniles in Kosovo. They also expressed readiness to continue cooperation and to develop new activities with the correctional staff.

The delegation closely visited the center’s facilities, activity rooms, and workspaces, where they became acquainted with the conditions, programs, and work carried out with juveniles in support of their resocialization.
