At the Correctional Educational Center, the First Aid Course with the use of AED was successfully completed, led by trainer Basri Rexhepi. Ten minors participated in this training.

During the course, participants gained knowledge and practical skills to respond in emergency situations, with special emphasis on cases of cardiac arrest. They were trained in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in using an automated external defibrillator (AED), interventions that significantly increase the chances of survival and help stabilize the condition until professional assistance arrives.

At the end of the training, certificates were awarded by the General Director of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani, together with the Acting Director of the Center, Fitim Berbatovci.

This training is an important step in raising awareness and responsibility among young people, equipping them with vital skills that serve both themselves and the community.
