Today, at the Dubrava Correctional Center, the Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani, met with the directors of correctional institutions and department heads.

During the meeting, the security situation in correctional institutions was discussed, with a particular focus on preventing contraband and strengthening control measures. The need for increased vigilance, internal coordination, and strict implementation of security procedures was emphasized.

The implementation of resocialization programs and their role in the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates was also addressed, as well as their overall treatment in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Inter-institutional cooperation was also discussed as an important factor in preventing illegal activities and ensuring more efficient functioning of the correctional system.

Director Dibrani praised the commitment of the leaders and called for continuous coordination, with the aim of increasing security and guaranteeing order in correctional institutions.
