The Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Ismail Dibrani, met with the Governor of Gjilan Prison, Mr. Mads Beyer. During the meeting, the implementation of the agreement between Kosovo and Denmark was discussed, under which the Pre-trial Detention Center in Gjilan has been put into use.

Director Dibrani appreciated the excellent cooperation between the two institutions, emphasizing that this agreement represents a unique model of international partnership and an important step in the further development of the correctional system in Kosovo.

Mr. Beyer, for his part, reconfirmed the continued commitment of the Danish side to the successful implementation of the agreement and to supporting the Kosovo Correctional Service in strengthening its institutional and professional capacities.
