Today, the last concert of the tour “Opera on Wheels”, a cultural and artistic initiative organized by the SHKK and the “Ramë Lahaj” Foundation, was held at the Dubrava Correctional Center.

At this concert, prisoners had the opportunity to experience a special operatic performance by soprano Kaltrina Miftari and pianist Lirika Pula. Ben Azemi, logistics assistant, Flakon Zharku, videographer, and Rona Kokaj, project coordinator, also contributed to the smooth running of the activity.

This concert marked the conclusion of a series of artistic activities that also took place at the Lipjan Women’s Correctional Center and at the Lipjan Correctional Center, bringing operatic art closer to closed communities.

With this initiative, the Kosovo Correctional Service and the “Ramë Lahaj” Foundation have taken an important step towards cultural inclusion and the promotion of art within correctional institutions.
