The General Director of Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Dibrani, is participating at International ICPA Conference, which is held in Singapore.

During this conference, Mr. Dibrani held meetings with Mr. Peter Severin, President of ICPA, and Mrs. Yong Lee Shie, Commissioner of the Singapore Prison Service.

At the meeting with the heads of services were discussed key topics related to the future of correctional services. These included: building supportive ecosystems for the community; exploring alternatives to imprisonment; reviewing recidivism with a focus on success; using technology to improve operations; and improving training and education programs.

This international meeting represents an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and increased cooperation between countries, with the aim of improving the efficiency of correctional institutions globally.

Kosovo, as a full member of ICPA, is taking advantage of these developments to further strengthen its correctional system.
