In the Educational and Correctional Center for Juveniles in Lipjan, during October, which is also known as the Pink Month for breast cancer awareness, the juveniles have completed creation of pink ribbons.
These ribbons have been distributed to all women at the Lipjan Correctional Center and the Women’s Correctional Center, contributing to raising awareness and solidarity against this disease.
This activity aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and encourage women to have regular health checkups. As part of pink month, the juveniles not only learned about the importance of early prevention of this disease, but also actively contributed on supporting all the women invloved.
Pink ribbons, known as a symbol of breast cancer awareness, were distributed at a special ceremony, where participants emphasized the importance of cooperation and assistance between communities in facing such health challenges.
