Today, the Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Ismail Dibrani, together with the Acting Minister of Justice, Mr. Blerim Sallahu, met with Ms. Valdete Ilazi, Chairwoman of the Women’s Association of the Kosovo Correctional Service, along with the members of the association.
During the meeting, Mr. Dibrani and Acting Minister Sallahu congratulated Ms. Ilazi on her new mandate, acknowledging her commitment and the importance of the role of women within the correctional system. It was also emphasized that their contribution remains indispensable for the professional, safe, and efficient functioning of correctional institutions.
The Kosovo Correctional Service reaffirmed its full support for initiatives aimed at empowering and advancing the position of women within this system, highlighting that their active involvement in institutional processes represents an added value for the further development of the service.
