At the Detention Center in Pristina, the Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani, hosted a meeting with Kyle Conahan, an official of the U.S. Department of State from the Office of Counterterrorism.

During the meeting, Director Dibrani informed them about the developments, achievements, and successes of the Kosovo Correctional Service, both at the national and international levels, with particular emphasis on the role and advancement of the KCS Intelligence Unit.

Director Dibrani also expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and continuous support, emphasizing that thanks to the support of international partners, and especially the U.S. Department of State, the Kosovo Correctional Service today is a regional leader in terms of treatment and security, as well as an example of success and a model to be followed by countries in the region.

The meeting also discussed issues related to counterterrorism, inter-institutional cooperation, and strengthening security.
