The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Donika Gërvalla, together with the General Director of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani, visited the Juvenile Correctional Center and the Juvenile Educational Correctional Center in Lipjan. During this visit, certificates were awarded to 40 juveniles who successfully completed the trainings conducted in these institutions.
At the Juvenile Correctional Center, Minister Gërvalla visited the IT laboratory, where work in the field of robotics was presented. This activity demonstrated the involvement of juveniles in modern and developmental programs, with a focus on advancing technological skills.
During this activity, the work carried out within the framework of trainings led by trainer Dea Basholli from the NGO Bonevet was also presented, and participants were awarded certificates for successfully completing the programs.
The visit continued at the Juvenile Educational Correctional Center, where the work and functioning of the institution were presented, and the premises and classrooms of the center were visited. In this context, a demonstration of first aid training was conducted by instructor Bastri Rexhepi together with the juveniles. Additionally, the TOP-s program was presented by trainer Flaka Ymeri.
At the end, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, together with the General Director of the Correctional Service, symbolically distributed certificates, appreciating the commitment and dedication of the juveniles in these rehabilitative and educational programs.
