A training lecture on the topic “Mental Disorders and the Treatment of Inmates with Mental Disorders” was held at the Detention Center in Pristina, led by instructor Eralda Cubaj.

The training aimed to increase knowledge and awareness regarding mental health. During the session, the most common types of mental disorders were addressed, along with their signs and symptoms, as well as methods for identifying and supporting individuals facing these disorders.

The discussions were characterized by the active engagement of participants, contributing to the strengthening of a preventive and supportive approach toward mental health disorders within the institution.

This training has contributed to strengthening the professional and supportive approach toward convicted persons, improving the institutional environment and supporting the rehabilitation process in accordance with the legal and professional standards of the correctional system.
