The Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Ismail Dibrani, today welcomed Mr. Bertram Welsing, the newly appointed Director of the OSCE Department of Security and Public Safety (DSPS).

Mr. Dibrani congratulated Mr. Welsing on his new role and provided an overview of the key challenges and achievements of the Kosovo Correctional Service. He underlined the institution’s commitment to further advancing the correctional system and to deepening cooperation with all international partners, including the OSCE.

Mr. Welsing commended Mr. Dibrani for the progress and accomplishments of the KCS and expressed his full support and readiness to continue close cooperation in the areas of security, professionalism, and alignment with international standards in the correctional system. The meeting reaffirmed the mutual commitment to strengthening security institutions and promoting democratic values in line with European and international standards.
