The rehabilitation program “EQUIP – Anger Management,” aimed at developing self-control skills, improving behavior, and managing emotions, has been successfully completed at the Smrekonica Correctional Center.

Ten (10) inmates participated in this program, and upon its conclusion, they expressed great satisfaction with the experience gained. They emphasized that during the training they learned to accept their mistakes, take positive steps toward constructive changes, and face challenges with greater responsibility and maturity.

The program concluded with a formal ceremony during which certificates were distributed to the participants by Mr. Ismail Dibrani, Director General of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Ridvan Hoti, Deputy Executive Director for the Treatment of Prisoners, as well as representatives of the management of the Smrekonica Correctional Center.

The Kosovo Correctional Service remains committed to implementing similar rehabilitation programs with the aim of resocializing inmates and preparing them for successful reintegration into society.
