Vocational training for four trades has been successfully completed at Dubrava Correctional Center: Bricklayer, Carpenter, Plumber, and Metalworker. As part of this program, 22 prisoners participated in the training and were certified for the skills they acquired, offering them better opportunities for reintegration into society after the end of their sentence.

The certificate awarding ceremony was attended by the Director of Dubrava Correctional Center, Mr. Sami Gashi, the Director of the Peja Vocational Training Center, Mr. Edison Bërdyna, the Quality Coordinator at the Peja Vocational Training Center, Ms. Erodita Tatlixhi, as well as trainers from Dubrava Correctional Center.

This training is part of the institutions’ commitment to assist prisoners in developing their professional skills and preparing them for the labor market after their release.
