Kosovo Correctional Service continued its series of sports activities within the framework of marking the 25-th anniversary of its establishment. Today, in Correctional Center in Lipjan was organized a symbolic marathon “Run of Change”, 2.5 km length. This marathon aimed promoting change, integration and rehabilitation within correctional system.

It also aimed highlighting sports importance as a means for rising awareness, and improving physical and psychological well-being. In this activity participated the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, the General Director of Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Ismail Dibrani, male and female inmates, and also local and international organization representatives, embassies, media, sports and music.

The marathon was supported by Kosovo Athletics Federation, marking another important moment in honor of this jubilee event.

At the end, the first three winners were medals and gratitude awarded, closing the activity with a festive and motivating atmosphere.
