Today at the Detention Center in Prishtina, was organized the program “Anger Management” by social officers Selvije Berisha and Naime Redenica and certificates where distributed. This program is evaluated as a precious contribution and with an important value for rehabilitation and training of inmate individuals in DC- Prishtina.

The ceremony was attended by the General Director of Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Ismail Dibrani, Acting Deputy Director of Prishtina Detention Center, Mr. Sali Ademi and the Director of the Department for the Treatment of Prisoners, Mr. Arsim Sherifi. They highly appreciated the importance of these rehabilitation programs for rising awareness of inmates, mental correction and behavior improvement. Participants were encouraged to participate also in other similar activities and programs.

During this year, 7 groups participated in programs like “Anger Management” and “Social Skills” at the Pristina Detention Center, significantly contributing to the reduction of incidents and conflict between prisoners. These activities fully coincide with the mission and vision of the Kosovo Correctional Service for the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners into society.
