The Minister of Justice of Kosovo, Ms. Albulena Haxhiu, together with the General Director of the Kosovo Correctional Service, Mr. Ismail Dibrani, met with the Danish Minister of Justice, Mr. Peter Hummelgaard, and the General Director of the Danish Prison and Probation Service, Ms. Ina Eliasen.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreement between Kosovo and Denmark regarding the use of the Detention Center in Gjilan. The discussions focused on the organization and functioning of this center, including the engagement of correctional and administrative staff.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Representatives from both countries emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in the field of justice and corrections, expressing their willingness to expand this partnership into other similar areas in the future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>As part of the official visit, the delegation from Kosovo also visited the Storstr\u00f8m High-Security Prison, where they closely observed the standards and practices of correctional institution management in Denmark.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
