14th of January 2025, Prishtin\u00eb- By invitation of the Department of Justice of United States of America, the General Director of Kosovo Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani, together with officers of Correctional Intelligence, are participating in the Annual Conference of American Correctional Association, that is taking place in Orlando, Florida.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This conference, one of the most important in the correctional system area, offers great platform for exchanging of experiences and ideas between Directors of Correctional Services from USA and other countries.<\/p>\n

During his participation, Director Dibrani held important meetings, including a meeting with the new president of the International Association of Correctional Services (ACA), Mr. Ricky D. Dixon. He also spoke with other correctional service leaders from the US and other countries, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in this sector. This is a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss best practices in this field.<\/p>\n

The conference also includes numerous panels, lectures, and sessions that address important topics. Some of them include prison security, rehabilitation programs, information technology, mental health, management of correctional institutions and economic entities, as well as many other relevant issues.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Embassy remains our key partner in efforts to strengthen and further develop the Kosovo Correctional Service.<\/p>\n
